This year was full of goodbyes for Jonny and Nicole. It was filled with lots of lasts as they both head off to new adventures. Jonny graduated and joined the Army National Guard a few days after we returned back to Utah. Nicole headed off to New Mexico Military Institute boarding school to finish high school.
Both were very sad as we drove to the airport knowing that they won't be back here and probably won't see many of their friends again. Lots of tears were shed on the hour drive to the airport. Usually it is a happy exciting time as we head back home for the summer, but both were pretty sad to say goodbye to their home here.
Life is going to be different for us without them both but they both will be doing new and good things.
