Jonny and Franco going to a dance.
We have made some good friends in Saudi.  We love living overseas but the hardest part of living overseas, is saying goodbye to good friends.  Franco Gerber has been Jonny's sidekick here in Saudi.  He lives right next door and they have pretty much been inseparable since we moved here.  Franco graduated this year and will be leaving Saudi to go back home in South Africa.  While his family will stay here and we will enjoy their friendship, we will miss Franco.

Our kids have been exposed to many different cultures around the world.  They have friends all over the world and have developed some very good friendships.  Although we miss the United States at times, we would never trade our experiences from living overseas.

Gavin and Jonny with Gavin's baby, the motorcycle.

Although women aren't allowed to drive cars or even ride on the back of motorcycles, we always find a way to enjoy our rides.  Most of the time I, Coree, have to dress in jeans, jacket, and full face helmet to look like a boy when riding, this one time I rebelled and just wore my abaya.  We got many dirty looks and honks because they didn't appreciate a woman on the back.  It probably wasn't the best idea because the abaya got caught in the wheel and totally was shredded by the time we got home.

We are very proud of Nicole this year.  She made honors all four quarters.  Jonny made honor roll at DHS as well.
On our compound we have these random green parrots that life in our trees.  They love our sunflowers.

The DHS teachers challenged the Varsity players in a game of basketball.  The teachers were a little cocky and came dressed in costume thinking that they still had a chance to win.  They were a little surprised when the students crushed them, but they did put on a good show in their crazy gear.

What would our life be without our cute dogs here in Saudi.  They have completed our life here with their unconditional love.  Everyday when we come home we are greeted by these two loving dogs.
