This had to be the highlight of our trip. We drove all the way across the country and our car ran perfectly the whole time without complaint. Then disaster struck about an hour from home. Our fuel pump went out. We were near Price, Utah in the middle of nowhere and the car stopped. Our cell phones barely worked. My cell phone worked just long enough for me to call 911. They sent a tow truck and a highway patrolman to make sure we had enough water and $800 later we were on our way back home.
