We were stopped about a month ago in the street by our school about having our kids model here in China. This was a different agency from before so I emailed him some pictures we had of the kids but didn't really expect anything. They called us a few weeks ago for Vika to model but the shoot was on a Sunday so we told them we couldn't do it on Sunday's. He called back last week for Jonny and again the shoot was on Sunday so we had to explain again. He seemed to understand the Sunday conflict so hopefully it won't come up again. They were able to reschedule it for Saturday so Jonny could go. They came and picked Jonny and Gavin up Saturday morning to take them downtown. Jonny wasn't too thrilled about the whole modeling thing at first especially when they put makeup on him but he did pretty good.
The shots are for a catalog and were mostly sport clothes. I wish he could've kept the clothes but they couldn't. All in all it was a good experience for Jonny and he said it wasn't too bad. The highlight for him was when they handed him 1000RMB (about $150.00). That was for only about 3 hours of his time. He'll put half in savings and we told him he could have the other half. Now he's hoping to do a few more so he can get some more money.
Now we can say we have a professional model in our family.
