| Bled, Slovenia |
The next day we headed off to Slovenia with our friends the Galicia's and the Woodhead's. They had suggested it a few weeks before we arrived and of course we said "Yes, let's go" It was the highlight of the trip. Slovenia is so magical with castles, forest, and beautiful scenery. We drove through Austria a bit and then headed down into Slovenia to Bled. We stayed at a small hotel just outside of Bled towards the ski resort.

The hotel was perfect. It was in a little village where we had to drive on this tiny farm roads through the village to get to. It was just breathtaking.
We came to ski and thought there would be snow down in the valley but it was perfect because all the snow is up in the mountains.
We arrived around 5:00 in the afternoon. After we checked in we walked down to a little restaurant for some Slovenian food. Of course it was all awesome.

We went back to the hotel early because we had a full day of skiing ahead of us. The best was yet to come!
