Christmas Program

This past week was a busy one with lots of Christmas programs at our school. Vika had hers on Wednesday morning and I was able to get a substitute for a few hours and go watch. It was so fun to be able to watch cute Vika.

After her music program they had a little party in her classroom. I was able to stay for a few minutes. She really loves her "school-school", that's what she calls it.

Later that night Jonny and Nicole had their programs. It was held at the Old Shekou Theatre and was quite the production. I was on the committee and was amazed at all the preparation that went into organizing it. They had half the grades perform on Tuesday night and the other half on Wednesday. The theatre was filled to capacity both nights. We had over 450 people attend each night. It was a great night. I downloaded a few videos of Vika and Nicole. Today was our last day before winter break. It was more just a fun day for the kids but it is over. We are now officially on break and leave for Thailand tomorrow. We probably won't get to update our blog with pictures until we get back but we will try to post something. Tomorrow night we will be staying in Bangkok and then a van will take us to Koh Chang early the next morning. It is about a 5 hour drive. We will be in Koh Chang for 6 days and then back to Bangkok for a few more days. We'll be back here on December 23. We are excited!!!!
