We decided to take a Friday afternoon (Sabbath day) drive and ended up out at Half Moon Bay. It is a public beach about 45 minutes from our house. Across the street from the beach were these sand dunes where people were parked to watch the line of 4 wheel drive vehicles try to get up the dune. It was like being at the Drive In movies. Hundreds of cars were parked all facing the dune. They would all cheer as people made it up to the top of the dune. This seems to be the thing to do for the Saudi men (boys).
We did a little driving around in the sand. Jonny and Rachel both drove. We weren't as crazy as some of the others but enough to have fun.
