Every year Gavin climbs Mt. Timp with his friend Chris. This year it happened to be the day before we left Utah for China. They woke up at 4:30 in the morning to start their hike and were back by 1:00 in the afternoon. They didn't take skis this time to ski down the glacier because their wasn't much left of it this time of year but they had a few tales about their sliding on their bottoms to get down the glacier.
